Brief Biography:: Hi, my name is Jen, and my life revolves around archery! I'm an avid bowhunter from Winterset, Iowa, and I work from home as editor of The Iowa Sportsman and Family Fish and Game magazines. I've grown up around hunting, fishing and the outdoors my whole life, thanks to my dad and my brother. I love deer hunting, turkey hunting, bowfishing and shooting at 3-D tournaments with my family. My husband and I also enjoy our oak savanna that surrounds our house and managing trail cameras as well as searching for sheds, mushrooms and asparagus! I can't forget our basset hound, Rupert, either! He loves enjoying the outdoors with us too!

I havent hunted turkey in the fall very often., I thought it was boring almost no gobbling. A couple of times I drove my friend around so he could get in some archery for deer one fall. Roosted a bunch of hens and young one night, next morning heard all the noise when they flew down. Had a mouth call and messed with a hen for around 30 mins that was a lot of fun. My fall is getting ready for yotes

The highest guess was 265 1/5" and the lowest guess was 110"! The main range of guesses were between 180"-135", but the net score of the buck was 156 1/8". Thank you to everyone who entered!
