Yes. Family Fish & Game will supply the space for your hunting web profile. Family Fish & Game wants to create the easiest to use and most informative hunting website on the World Wide Web.
How much space do I get?
The only restriction is that you can’t have more than 100 photos in your album.
I just signed up, but my nickname and password don't work?
When you first sign up, an activation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail account you provided when you filled out the signup form. You must activate your account by going to the link provided in this e-mail before you can log in.
Please follow these steps to activate your account:
- Go to the e-mail address that you signed up with and check your new mail.
- You should see an e-mail with the subject Welcome to The Hunt Zone - Activate your account!
- This e-mail contains an activation link. Please click on this link or copy and paste it into a web browser and hit Enter.
- Log in to get started building your free website!
If you do not receive the activation e-mail, please check your spam folder to see if your e-mail provider has mistakenly flagged the activation e-mail as spam.

What kind of photos can I upload?
You can upload photos ending in .gif, .jpg or .png that are smaller than 2MB (or 2,000KB). You must own the copyright to any photos you upload. If we find that you have posted copyrighted photos to your profile, we will deactivate your account. If you are having problems uploading photos, please:
- Check to make sure that your file ends in .gif, .jpg or .png. No other formats will be accepted.
- Make sure that your file is smaller than 2MB (or 2,000KB). On a Windows PC, you can find the size of a file by right-clicking on it and choosing 'Properties.' On a Mac, click once on the file and go to 'File > Get Info' to find the file size.
What will be the address of my web page?
Go to 'My Profile' and look underneath 'Hunter's Links' to where it says 'Link to My Profile'. This is your web page address. You can link to it from other places (like a MySpace profile) or e-mail it to all your friends.
How do I change the color or size of the text on my stories?
- First, type the text.
- Using your mouse, click and drag to highlight the text you want to change.
- Click a button in the toolbar above the text to change the size, color, bold or italic status of the text. You will see tags appear in the box below. They might look something like this:
[color=darkred]This is dark red text.[/color] - To preview your changes, click the 'Preview' button below the text box.
- To strip all the formatting from the text and start over, click the 'Strip' button.
What does 'pending friend' mean?
When you add someone as your friend, you'll need to wait for them to approve you before you show up on their friends list (and vice versa). If you see a button that says 'Pending Friend', that means that the other person has not approved you yet.
I forgot my password?
Please click this link to obtain a new password. You will be asked to enter your nickname and the e-mail address you used to sign up for the account. If you cannot remember which e-mail address you used to sign up with, please contact the Hunt Zone staff for help.
After you fill out your nickname and e-mail address, the system will assign you a new password. You must activate this password by clicking on an activation link in an e-mail that will be sent to you before you can use it.

How do I become a Hunting Resource?
It’s easy! Simply sign up to create your own profile page. Once you have a profile, fill out the form underneath 'Get Listed as a Hunting Resource' and hit save. The information will be sent to Family Fish & Game staff. Once a staff member has approved you as a resource, you will appear in our Hunting Resources directory.
How do I become a Featured Hunting Resource?

How can I advertise with Family Fish & Game?
Family Fish & Game has an ad package to fit most needs. If you can't work with the ones available, fill out our contact form to send us an e-mail about creating a custom ad package.

Family Fish & Game has an Invite a Friend feature that allows you to send an invitation to your friends to come and see Family Fish & Game homepage, your personal page, or any other part of Family Fish & Game website.
